So much fun but I do enjoy being back on to some sort of routine :) I have missed my coupon shopping and my pantry is getting very low on supplies although they lasted the whole summer, so back to stocking up. Easy Airmiles

Safeway has some great airmiles deals right now, buy 5 Kellog's products and recieve 60 bonus airmiles. With the coupons from the back of the cereal boxes you can get 300 air miles for $6.00, or for totally free if you have a ton of the eggo waffles coupons. Deal, if you don't mind walking around the store with a whole cart of raisin bran and eggo's :)

Another good deal is at SDM for the Glad cling wrap, it is on sale for .99 and there are coupon booklets for Glad with a .75 of coupon inside. So time to stock up on Glad for .25 each. I found the Glad coupon books at Safeway and Zellers.

8x Raisin Bran 2 for $5=$20.00-$16.00(coupons)=$4.00

4x Rice Krispes 2 for $5=$10.00-$$8.00(coupons)=$2.00

Hello, Cupcake!

These are the most adorable cupcakes, they are almost too cute to eat.. They were for my daughters birthday party, since she has an obsession with cats.

I was wondering in the book store and came across this book called Hello, Cupcake! It has the most cute and simple recipes that I had to buy it, and these are the first ones I made.

Cute little fish bones and Kitty's, and the cupcakes were made from Betty Crocker cake mix, the icing was the Betty Crocker pre-made. All I had to do was tint the icing, add it to a piping bag and I was good to go. The fish bones were made from melted white chocolate traced on wax paper.
Easy peasy..

Pumpkin Muffins

I just made these most delicious low fat pumpkin muffins from a recipe I got from my Mother- in-law. She is always trying new recipes that are low in calories, I think she got this one from her weight watchers group. Very moist and tasty, definitely a keeper.

Here's the recipe:

1 14 oz can of pumpkin

1 Betty Crocker carrot cake mix

2 eggs or 1/2 c of egg beaters

1 tsp cinnamon

1 tsp allspice

1 tsp nutmeg

Preheat oven to 350 degrees

Spray muffin tin

Mix all ingredients together

Makes 12 regular size muffins

* Fill to top as muffins do not rise that much

Enjoy

First Grocery Brag

O.K. so here goes my first brag. I started couponing in April and can't believe how much free stuff is out there. What have I been doing all this time, and why isn't every body doing this? It started on an episode of Oprah, about the Grocery Game and spiraled from there. I started looking for sites in Canada that were similar and came across a fantastic site called Smart Canucks, which is free and has all kind of useful information. So these are my finds from the last week.....

All of this cost me $7.50, yay, I will keep posting my finds as I get them with some more detail about where and what coupons I used.
